According to theblemish.com, Kardashian was paid a reported 500K to appear as Lugners date for the evening and has gotten slammed by internet pundits for the move. Rumorfix.com weighed in on Kims exploits as a paid escort for Richard Lugner: We thought after carefully managing her image over the past few years that Kim Kardashian was above the level of paid escort as a publicity stunt. But thats exactly what shes done by agreeing to appear as 81-year-old Austrian billionaire Richard Lugners date for the Vienna Opera Ball Thursday night. That sentiment was echoed by Celeb Dirty Laundry as they threw their support behind Claudia Schiffers point of view on being a paid escort, versus what Kim Kardashian stands for on the matter: [Kim Kardashian] makes plenty of these appearances that Claudias referring to, and why wouldnt she? Kim has no class and no compunction about making money by going on dates and making public appearances at events. <br>Source: http://www.inquisitr.com/1153868/claudia-schiffer-disses-kim-kardashian-for-being-paid-escort/

Lugner, who over the years has made a habit of hiring various starlet-types to be his big-bucks arm candy for the annual event, told local reporters before the ball that the reality-TV diva was "annoying," according to Radar Online . Mom Kris Jenner and baby North both accompanied Kim to Vienna, where Lugner met them at their private jet upon arrival, complete with flowers. <br>Source: http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/gossip/la-et-mg-kim-kardashian-vienna-opera-ball-richard-lugner-date-20140227,0,6493504.story

Later, she was greeted by another man who asked her to dance and suggested the orchestra play "N in Vienna" an apparent reference to West's song "N in Paris." A source close to Kardashian confirms to PEOPLE that TMZ's report is accurate. "It was awful," the source adds. "This guy pays a different celeb every year, male or female. But Kim clearly wasn't his escort." Lugner, 81, has taken various stars to the ball over the years, including Pamela Anderson , Carmen Electra and Paris Hilton . <br>Source: http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20791936,00.html

'Kim Kardashian, as nasal and awful an actress as you might imagine,' wrote Alonso Duralde from The Wrap. '...And Kim Kardashian, as the protagonists bitchy fashionista coworker, vainly trying to act,' states Tim Out, giving the film a measly one star rating. Roger Moore, meanwhile, describes Kim's performance as 'vapid' and allots the film just one-and-a-half stars. Both these incidents have been confirmed. The man in blackface has been identified as Chris Stephan, a standup comedian. We are pleased with the courts ruling overruling the Kardashians special motion to strike as to the defamatory statements made by the Kardashians against our client, Ellen Kardashians attorney Arnold Peter told me today. Contrary to the hope of the Kardashians legal team, the ruling has trimmed the excess of this lawsuit and focused the parties on the core issues. This case has been and continues to be about ensuring that the Kardashians follow the law just like everyone else. They cannot hide behind their television show as justification for making defamatory statements about those around them for purposes of entertainment, he added. Peter and Marcus Lee of Beverly Hills Peter Law Group are representing Ellen Kardashian. <br>Source: http://tv.yahoo.com/news/kardashian-widow-defamation-lawsuit-against-reality-tv-clan-013708342.html
